Answer 1 :
ask other officers from the different agencies and see what they say and weigh out the pros and cons of both.
Answer 2 :
Kansas City MO Police Department is much harder to get into, I know that much. When you work in KC, MO you pay a 1% tax to Kansas City, MO.
Answer 3 :
Kansas, definately. The officers in Missouri are more corrupt. They're more dangerous than the criminals. You don't want to be affiliated with them.
Answer 4 :
Its the same city......a river runs thru it.

About How do I register a car that I bought in Kansas City but a residence of Virginia

How do I register a car that I bought in Kansas City but a residence of Virginia?
I am temporarily working here in Kansas City, KS and bought a car. I cannot register the car here in Kansas City because I am not a Kansas City resident and does not have a Kansas City address. I am staying most of the time in hotels and extended stay. How do I register the car in Virginia since I have a Virginia driver's license and established my residency there. By the way, I traded my car with Virginia tags on it. Can I transfer the tags on the newly bought car?

Answer 1 :
bring it to the DMV in virginia, they will take care of everything, you can transfer the tags on the newly bought car
Answer 2 :
No you register with your home state - try your states dmv web site
Answer 3 :
You must register the car in the state of your official residence, Virginia. How to do that? I suspect you will have to physically take the car to VA to register it but start by calling the Va. DMV or looking on their website

Who are obgyns in the Kansas City Mo that work with high risk pregnancys?

Answer 1 :
A few suggestions: Do you have a primary care physician? Ask him or her if they have a recommendation for a specialist. Ask your friends and co-workers for an OB-GYN recommendation. Call around and see if they are knowledgeable about your particular risk. Here is a list of OB-GYNs in Kansas City. Call around and see if they have experience with your condition. You can set up a consultation with them before choosing-- this is your opportunity to "interview" them and see if you're comfortable with them. http://local.yahoo.com/results?fr=dd-local-more&stx=ob-gyn&csz=Kansas+City%2C+MO Good luck!
Answer 2 :
ObGyns are specialists in high risk pregnancies...so anyone of them will do.

Answer 1 :
Worlds of fun Oak Park Mall (rain forest cafe) Plaza
Answer 2 :
Go to a Royals or Tbones baseball game. The Tbones are a AAA club and their games are always fun especially when they have some off the wall promotion.
Answer 3 :
Go to a KC Chiefs game while you are here!! Depends on what "FUN" is to you.....art/museums, bars/clubs, scenery/travel!! The Renaissance Festival is going on now until late October, you could check that out. If you are into the bar scene I recommend checking out FunkyTown(my personal fave), I would not recommend going to Westport at night, it scares me, to many crazy ppl. Anyways, have a good time doing whatever you choose to do!!
Answer 4 :
All good suggestions above. The Chiefs are a KC obsession, so I'll just repeat that one. The Steamboat Arabia museum downtown is cool. Nelson-Atkins museum east of the Plaza if you like fine art. Try the barbecue as well - Arthur Bryant's is the most famous, though Smokestack is my favorite.
Answer 5 :
there are some casinos, nelson atkins art museum, first friday's downtown art shows, gate's barbeque, bars in westport are fun (not scary unless you are a little girl) btw, funkytown is silly its like a 70s and 80s disco.

About where is the best city/town to live and work in Kansas

where is the best city/town to live and work in Kansas ?
I'm planning to move in the Mid West, specifically to Kansas. I'd like to know, where is the best area to find a job and to live over there. Thanks
Kansas City - 8 Answers

Answer 1 :
Overland Park, Kansas, is on the top ten list of cities to live in America. The tax seems high there. The property is clean, and some is quite new. I like Olathe, Kansas. The school system is very good, and the people are nice. Both Olathe, and Overland Park are calm cities, with night life. Lawrence, Kansas is not only a college town, but it is colorful, and youthful. It is a different pace than Olathe, but is clean. It is next to the river. There are alot of night life there, and the cost of living is cheaper, than in
Answer 2 :
Overland Park without a doubt is the gold standard in the KC metro area and all of Kansas.
Answer 3 :
Overland Park is great. It's a suburb of Kansas City. Plus, if you have or are planning to have children, the Kansas City area is a great place to be. Lawrence is great, too, but it's more of an "art scene" for college students and young adults.
Answer 4 :
PLUS SIDE: Overland Park is your best bet for a job. Huge job market but not at its peak right now. Depending on you're looking for, that's gonna be hard to tell you. Good for families.Schools are good. People are... Okay. DOWN SIDE: Now, I will be brutally honest with you. Kansas in general is boring for the single young adult. Emphasize single here. Nightlife is sparse in the JoCo area (plenty of bars!) but hit up the downtown area (P&L District: In MO) you will have plenty of action (25 minutes from OP). Good luck!
Answer 5 :
Lawrence, hands down. It is great in and of itself, and is less than an hour's drive from Kansas City when you want something bigger.
Answer 6 :
Try to stick to the Overland Park area. Also, check out Lenexa KS it's a little older but very nice and close to everything.
Answer 7 :
If you want to live in the city live in Overland Park. It's an established suburb of Kansas City Missouri, on the Kansas Side of the metro. It's a short drive away from the Nightlife scene of Downtown Kansas City (westport, power and light district, the plaza), it has great shopping, and if it's not in Overland Park, it's only like a ten minute drive into Kansas City, or it's other suburbs where there bound to have it. If you want to live completely in Kansas, try Wichita. It's also a city feel, but it's completely in Kansas. Lawerence, has an okay nightlife scene (bars), and it has more of a community feel. It's only an hours drive away to Kansas City in case you cant find it in Lawerence. It's a nice little collage town.
Answer 8 :
Leawood Kansas It's extremely safe-almost no crime. Beautiful Houses, great jobs, and great shopping/dining. Also has great schools, both private and public.

where can i work at in Kansas City MO at the age of 15?

Answer 1 :
I'm not sure WHERE, and I don't live in Kansas, or in MO, but I know that some places hire busboys (I don't nkow what the female form of the word is). They are the ones that will clean off tables, after someone is done eating, or they go around buffets and pick up finished-with plates. I believe you can also get a job as a bagger in Wal-mart, or K-mart, etc. Not much available, until you are 16. Just check with your local restaurants, and grocery stores. Hope I helped.
Answer 2 :
i live in the area and i know that McDonalds will hire at 15 (The one across from Wal Mart and by the new Price Chopper). All the places around hire at 16 other then McDonalds. There is always babysitting as a backup but that never seems to reasonable. Hope This helps.

About how does the law work in probate in kansas city kansas

how does the law work in probate in kansas city kansas?
my father passed away and he had told me few years back the kids were geting half equally shared, the lawyer has my address why does he need it, how does this work
Law & Ethics - 1 Answers
People's Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
Answer 1 :
If your father died with a will, (that is, testate), then the lawyer for the executor needs your address to send you notices of the probate proceedings. The executor will file a petition for either formal or informal probate in the probate division of the District Court of Wyandotte County, Kansas. It will be set for a hearing after notice has been sent to all of the interested heirs, and after notice has been published in the official legal newspaper for the county. After the Executor of the estate has been appointed and letters testementary have been issued, the Executor will then marshall all of the assets of the estate, pay any creditors, and prepare a distribution of the estate to the heirs. If your father was married when he died, without his wife's consent he can't leave everything to the children. She is entitled to the "widow's elective share". However, if she approved of it in advance, and/or waives that, then you will still get your share. If your father died without a will, then Kansas law governing succession determines how to proceed. In that case, his wife is entitled to one-half of the estate (after payments to creditors) and his children are entitled to the other half, to be shared equally. For further information, please contact an attorney who can explain your rights more fully after reviewing your situation. For a referral, contact your local or state bar association.

About I would like to know how far apart is Kansas city,Ks and Kansas City, MO distance between the two

I would like to know how far apart is Kansas city,Ks and Kansas City, MO distance between the two?
I will be living and going to a community college in Kansas City,KS and I will be working in Kansas City, Mo (probably) so I would like to know the distance between kansas city, ks and kansas city,MO? thanks alot
Kansas City - 7 Answers
People's Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
Answer 1 :
technically the answer is 0. The two cities are joined at the Kansas-Mo. state line
Answer 2 :
Probably around an hour
Answer 3 :
Yes zero is correct it is one city divided by the state line. It is a pretty sprawling town though so the time to get from one side of town to the other could be an hour in traffic. There are quite a few corperations head quartered in KC KS though prehaps you could look for work there as well and save the commute. Good luck in your future endeavors!
Answer 4 :
There is no space between the two cities, the kansas/missouri border is the divider.
Answer 5 :
Kansas City is one metropolitan area with a Kansas side and a Missouri side. If I were you, I'd look up the addresses of both the community college and your job. Then use Google Maps to get directions from one to the other. Then you can see how far apart they are.
Answer 6 :
Kansas City, KS Community College is way out west near the 435 in Kansas City, Kansas near the Legends shopping center. Johnson County Community College is in Overland Park, KS (which people who do not live in KC Metro may often call "Kansas City, KS." The City of Kansas City, MO is very large and sprawling, so you will more than likely need a vehicle to get between the two. There is a bus from both of the junior colleges that takes you to downtown KCMO, the Plaza area, etc. Check out the website below and you should benefit from the wealth of information it presents for people who are moving to the city. Welcome!
Answer 7 :
The short way (from KC, MO going West) - 0.0 miles. The long way (from KC, MO going East) - about 28,000 miles.
