I am always in Kansas City for work but would like to know where the best adult urban clubs are...?
For all the 30 somethings in KC, where do you go to hang out, grab a martini, see pretty people and groove to hip hop and urban grooves??? HELP!!!

Kansas City is known more for it's blues, so it's much easier to find a bar with a blues band than hip hop. That's not to say that we don't have any. Here's a list of clubs I found on city guide - the link is listed in sources. But check out the other link - mary4music for some blues as well. The Empire Room or The Velvet Dog on Martini Corner. The Empire Room is better if you want to dance. The Velvet Dog is a little more laid back. Also Sol near 31st and Broadway and NV downtown are good. You may hit up Blonde.

well the hip hop clubs are kinda dangerous, people are often shot, westport and plaza areas are the best, Orlandos 21 is cool but its out in the suburbs
