I would NEVER do this job. It is door to door sales, with a slim possiblity that someone will need their yard fertilized at this time of year. Most often you are dumped off at a neighborhood and left to sell until they feel like coming back to get you. Keep looking

About Should I work on becoming a city police officer or county sheriff/ state trooper

Should I work on becoming a city police officer or county sheriff/ state trooper?
I really want to stay in a major city that's not to big, a city about the size of Tulsa, Albuquerque, Kansas City and other cities of that size. I also would like to know how county sheriff or state troopers operate in medium/large cities. So any ideas on what I should do? Thanks

Answer 1 :
Based on my experience, I really loved being with the city police. I worked in a more precise area day in and day out so I was able to become very familiar with the regulars and the area. My back up was closer when trouble started and there seemed to be less politics involved since the chief is hired and a sheriff is elected. (There is still SOME politics involved due to city officials and councils, etc.) My friends with Sheriffs dept and troopers had to cover a much much larger area and usually without any backup for 30-60 miles away. It seemed I was also able to learn many different aspects of the job with the city and promotion seemed quicker. A city police department is certainly my choice for starting out.
Answer 2 :
One good thing about being a city police officer is that your backup is about minutes or less away, which is nice.On the other hand if you don't want to be too overwhelmed, being a deputy sheriff would probably be best for you.State troopers operate mainly on the state's highways. They have jurisdiction of the whole state, although you don't see them going down city or county streets very often. If you like to focus on traffic, you would be best at state trooper or city police.State police make the most,if you are concerned with the pay. Hope this helps and good luck with your choice.

Either try to find a dental school that will give you a sliding scale if you qualify or I would encourage you to visit this great site: www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com I signed up online over 5 years ago and they have saved me thousands of dollars on all of my dental services. From my wisdom teeth extractions to xrays, fillings, Cleanings, root canals, and even my braces. They even had my affordable benefits active in 2 hours and was able to use them the very same day. Hope this helps

About Do you think that NY Islanders will move to Kansas City

Do you think that NY Islanders will move to Kansas City?
Do you think that New York Islanders will move to Kansas City to become Kansas City Islanders? The Kansas City TV news said the NY Islanders will move to KC next month if they don't work out with the city for build a new arena! Many Kansas City people wear the Islanders jersey every where in the town!

Answer 1 :
Maybe but it would ruin a 38 year rivalry between the Rangers and Islanders.
Answer 2 :
First of all everyone in Kansas City already roots for the Blues I'm sure. It's a dumb move for the NHL to make. Second...Kansas City Islanders??????? Funny cause I'm looking at KC on the map right now and you what; not an Island in sight! Kansas City Islanders would be the dumbest name in NHL history. There's no Islands within 600 miles of Kansas City. A name change would be in order.
Answer 3 :
Sorry but I don't .. just look at the amazing track record of the KC Scouts in the 70s
Answer 4 :
Don't think so. And Kansas city is not an island, so if they did they wouldn't be the islanders.
Answer 5 :
If a team does move from anywhere, Kansas city's a likely destination. They have a full fledged arena that only a few years old(Sprint Center) that the city built for this expressed purpose, and Kansas City is a great sports market for any league. Its also a lot safer than moving to Winnipeg or Quebec City, two other oft mentioned locations, meaning the NHL will be more cooperative. I'm not sure if moving at all is as likely to happen anytime soon. Although Phoenix is poor, Atlanta is waning, and no one want to build a new Islanders arena, the NHL will do all it can to keep teams where they are, since relocating is a bitch. Still, I would welcome a team in KC. It would give my Blues another rival besides just the Blackhawks (Bastards), but they would change the name to something besides Islanders, though it probably wouldn't be the Scouts again.
Answer 6 :
Yeah I'm glad all the other retards on this site do actual reaserch before typing whatever garbage pops into their head. What kind of market is Kansas City for a hockey team. There already is a team there with a very good fan base in St. Louis and the KC fans obviously haven't shown real dedication to the Royals and Chiefs. Also how the hell are the Isles suppose to move the KC next month when they are locked in an ironclad contract with Nassau County and they can't move until 2015. Second, of all the viable options for the Isles KC is near or at the bottom. It would go, Nassau county, Queens, Brooklynn, Suffolk County, Quebec City, Hartford, Winnepeg, Seattle, some other American city, and KC. Third, the Islanders are really pushing for the new arena with a loophole. The Shinecock Indian tribe on Long Island has been recongnized as a tribe by the state. Also the tribe wants to build a casino in Nassau and the Nassau county excutive Mangano is on board with them. Now the Isles can include their Lighthouse project in the casino. If that is the case filthy fat a** republican b*tch Kate Murray can't say whatever sh*t is in the space between her redneck ears. The project will go directly to the federal government which will aprove it right away. So KC don't get your hopes up, ur a joke of a sports town with a baseball team that doesn't care about winning and an owner who spends as little as possible and collect the revenue sharring and a crappy football team. Keep wearing those jerseys cause thats the closest ur getting to an NHL team
Answer 7 :
Absolutely NOT! Why would you leave the biggest market in the country for KC?! They're moving but not to KC, maybe to Brooklyn, where the Nets will be playing in 2 years at the Barclay's Center or now they're talking of planning to build an arena near Citi Field in Queens where the junk yards are in Willets Point. Queens is probably option being that it's technically still part of Long Island but the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn is already starting to be built so that's a shorter wait. Actually was just thinking that it'd be cool (not that I want this to happen) to move the Islanders to Staten Island. Build an arena there. It's still an island and it's still in New York and Staten Island doesn't have any Major League franchises. Yes, they do have the Staten Island Yankees, but they're the Yanks single A minor league affiliate... That'd be kinda cool as a last resort idea.
