Answer 1 :
You're not getting into college with those grammar skills.
Answer 2 :
You could maybe work at the royals stadium as a cashier, or as one of those people that walk around the stadium selling stuff. I don't know anything about becoming a disc jockey but the collage thats really close to the Downtown area is UMKC. You could always apply to go to collage there. Downtowns also kind of expensive so you'd probably need to save up and rent an apartment in the Crossroads Art District (which is downtown) or Columbus Park (which is also downtown).
Answer 3 :
Hello I recommend you know the city and then fencing in steps, so true yourself everything, but never doubt that you can not, do not let your dreams, for comments from people who do not know, all you want is in you. bye

About I work 12 hour shifts and need to find a church in the southern part of the Kansas City Area

I work 12 hour shifts and need to find a church in the southern part of the Kansas City Area?
I am looking for a Christian/Church of Christ/non-denominational church in the southern part of the Kansas City Metro Area, preferably Olathe, Overland Park, or Lenexa, that has either a Saturday night, Sunday morning, or Sunday night service either before or after work. I work 12 hour shifts (7 am to 7 pm) on Saturdays and Sundays. Any help would be appreciated.

Answer 1 :
Almost every Catholic parish offers Saturday evening and Sunday evening services as well as Sunday morning worship. I'm sure all these areas have Catholic churches. In addition, you would be worshipping with the only church Jesus authorized (see Matt 16:18-19). Cheers, Bruce
Answer 2 :
Any Seventh-day Adventist Church would receive you with Christ love. "HE WILL MAGNIFY THE LAW AND MAKE IT HONOURABLE." ____Isaiah 42:21 In nothing, perhaps, was this more strikingly fulfilled than in the manner of sabbath observance. .....Christ removed all the numerous traditional regulations and senseless restrictions and restored the SABBATH to its proper place AS A DAY OF WORSHIP, of contemplation of God, a day for doing acts of charity and mercy. Thus He magnified it and made it honourable. One of the most prominent features of Christ's ministry was this work of sabbath reform. CHRIST DID NOT ABOLISH OR CHANGE THE SABBATH; but He did rescue it from the rubbish of tradition, false ideas, and superstitutions by which it had been degraded. Jesus said in Mark 2:27 "the Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath." He showed that it was to minister to the happiness and well-being of both man and beast.

It depends on what the legal age is to be a server. In my state, you only have to be 18 to sell or serve alcohol, but you have to be 21 to purchase and/or drink it.
Answer 2 :
I believe nationally the highest age requirement for serving it is 19

Answer 1 :
You have to set it up with the jail's chaplain. They would expect you to be doing it in conjunction w/ a church or an established non-denominational ministry. They will require you to have a background check. It is rewarding work!
Answer 2 :
Oh, come on! Aren't these people being punished enough for their crimes?
Answer 3 :
- I don't know, but, more power to you, if you are a right on Biblical Christian, & not in a Cult ...<><...
Answer 4 :
That's a great idea. Good for you! I'd say you should ask a church about it. Somebody there would know somebody who knows about it.
Answer 5 :
You know what would be better still? Adopt these kids from their mothers instead of letting them be in foster care, on welfare or exposed to gangs and violence. My friend is in charge of our juvi here and he says he almost NEVER sees a kid in there who has 2 parents who care about him/her. You think gay marriage is going to ruin us, try poverty, one parent homes and divorce. They don't need bible study they need a hope for a real future.
Answer 6 :
It is illegal due to separation of church and state. Just because one has a captive audience does not mean one should take advantage of that to fulfill an agenda.
Answer 7 :
The cons deserve better than that.
Answer 8 :
First I would go to the jails or juvenile halls and talk to who's in charge. Then if they say I need a permit I would go to the courthouse and get a permit. Here in my city and state I would have to register with the mayor's office. If I was certified as a minister. While I'm waiting for the legal stuff to be worked out. I'd continue to pray for those in jails and juvenile halls.
Answer 9 :
I would start by contacting Prison Fellowship International. http://www.pfm.org/default_pf_org.asp And no, prison ministries are not illegal due to the separation of church and state, as long as there is no coercion invovled.
Answer 10 :
You need to contact the facility and find out what their requirements are. You may also need to go through a training class at that facility. My church has an adult and youth prison ministry were we go in on Sundays and give a bible study and worship. The prisoners go voluntarily. We all had to get background screenings and had to go through a training class on all the rules and regulations that we have to follow when we are there. God bless you for having a heart for those in prison. I will keep you in prayer and pray that God opens all doors for you.
